Why go to Sentiens?
Sentiens Clinic provides an evidence-based structured approach to mental health care that integrates psychotherapeutic individual and group programs, mental health promotion and self-management education.
This humanistic treatment method is well accepted by patients because it is focused on skill building, lifestyle issues, problem-solving, medication adherence and other practical aspects of managing ones health condition.
The key benefits to patients are improvements in quality of life through supportive strategies such as:
- programs designed to improve knowledge and understanding of their illness;
- skill development and building on current strengths;
- psycho-educational programs that identify barriers to understanding illness and building awareness;
- treatments that cover the physical and mental aspects of health; and
- medicines education and support to increase compliance with treatment.
